At Herbers Zone, we take as much care in ensuring your satisfaction as we do in nurturing our premium plants. While we hope every plant arrives in perfect condition and meets your gardening dreams, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be necessary.

Our Return Policy

We gladly accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition (unplanted and with original packaging when possible)
  • You must provide proof of purchase
  • The item must not be on our non-returnable list (see below)

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their perishable nature, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Herb Plants (from our HERB PLANTS collection)
  • Topiary Plants (from our TOPIARY PLANTS collection)

These delicate plants require special care and cannot be resold once shipped. If you receive damaged herb or topiary plants, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your request. Please use our Return Request Template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
  2. Wait for approval – Our Garden Advisors will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
  3. Package your return – Carefully repackage the item using the original packaging when possible.
  4. Ship your return – Send the package to our nursery at the address below using a trackable shipping service.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or damaged item). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival at our nursery), we will process your refund or exchange. You will receive an email notification when this is complete.

Refund Timelines:

  • Credit card payments: 5-10 business days after processing (depending on your bank)
  • PayPal payments: 3-5 business days after processing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If you paid with a gift card or store credit, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Exchanges

For exchanges, we will ship your new item once the return is received and processed. If the new item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged item or incorrect product. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
